My whole experience at RLUH was excellent. I was seen both times I attended very promptly and all the staff were friendly, courteous and very professional. Victor was excellent his manner was very friendly informative but at all times professional. He explained my diagnosis and treatment regime, which involves various drops, ointments and antibiotics.. This list is quite extensive and needs to be taken at various times throughout the day over a four week period. After explaining all this he then wrote the instructions down and also gave me a leaflet (which he had created) explaining my condition and recommending other items that could assist me.
I couldn't praise or recommend him highly enough he deserves 'five stars' for his care and clinical professionalism...........

Mr Hu had a kind, patient manner. He took time to listen and fully explained the details and treatment for my eye condition.
Although it appeared to be a very busy department, the waiting time was not long and I was finished sooner than anticipated.
An excellent consultant and clinic staff.

Mr Hu was a very friendly and informative man.
I felt completely at ease with him, found him incredibly easy to talk to, he explained things in a way that made it easy for me to understand.
I have seen a number of different doctors at different hospitals over the years and today for the first time in a long time I think I can finally see a light at the end of a long tunnel of hospital visits thanks to Mr Hu.

Consultant ophthalmologist at Mid Cheshire NHS Hospitals with a specialist interest in Cornea, including corneal transplant surgery, and also Glaucoma. He is passionate about providing excellent patient care and experience. He previously completed a PhD on trachoma with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and currently works with the LSHTM leading research in low-income countries.
